Janssen PharmaceuticaVNHA provided engineering consulting services to Johnson & Johnson for their 20+ acre, 4.11-megawatt solar array on their Janssen Pharmaceutica Titusville, New Jersey campus. Once complete the array will produce approximately 70% of the site’s energy needs annually and reduce its annual carbon footprint by approximately 5,000 tons. VNHA’s services included preparing municipal preliminary/final site plan documents including site layout and grading plans, stormwater management systems, soil erosion and sediment control plans and civil construction specifications. In addition VNHA took the lead in submitting and obtaining all other land use approvals, including but not limited to County Planning Board, Soil Conservation District and the Delaware and Raritan Canal Commission. Once under construction, VNHA provided construction phase services which included foundation systems observations and certifications for final municipal CO and final as built survey of the constructed solar field.
