Over its history, VNHA has provided full stormwater management services ranging in scale from individual property owner drainage assessment to Regional Stormwater Management Master Planning. VNHA has kept pace with ever-evolving stormwater management regulations by taking a progressive and integrated approach to stormwater management design. Our approach provides our clients with innovative stormwater solutions that not only function, but that are environmentally sustainable.
Not every site has a single solution for stormwater management. VNHA approaches every design first with non-structural strategy design goals that focus on minimizing disturbance to vegetation and landscaping. To meet the governing regulatory requirements, it is also often necessary to design and implement structural stormwater strategies to supplement the non-structural design. VNHA has designed and implemented a variety of structural stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP’s) including Wet Ponds, Constructed Wetland and Bioretention Facilities, Extended Detention and Infiltration Basins, Recharge Trenches, Dry Wells, Rain Gardens, Pervious Pavement Systems, and Green Roof System Technology.
